IN THE HEART OF PALILULA JUBILEE

On the occasion of celebrating the City of Nis celebration "St. Constantine and Helen" and the celebration of the jubilee of 1700 years of the Edict of Milan, City Municipality of Palilula-Nis organized on Sunday, 02.June 2013 traditional event in the culture titled "PALILULA NIGHT 2013". Municipality of Palilula, recognized as part of the city which fosters the spirit of the old bazaar, aristocratic and bohemian Nis, hosted on this occasion on the Palilula railway ramps and in the Episkopska street, excepted the contractors of the cultural program and a number of guests from the city of Nis, Serbia and Bulgaria.

The event-music stage program "PALILULA NIGHT 2013 - At the heart of Palilula", designed as an evening with spiritual, old music threads, was visited by the multiple tens of thousands of people from Nis-PALILULA. The event was opened by Boban Džunić, president Municipality of Palilula-Nis and the Mayor of Nis, Prof. Zoran Perisic, also addressed the citizens. The traditional greeting word was sent by His Grace Bishop Jovan of Nis.

The "Palilula evening in 2013," began at 18 o'clock with the opening of the exhibition of multimedia artist titled "Byzantine Renaissance" in the Pavilion of the Nis fortress.

From 19:30 hours on the big stage at Palilula railway ramps, most successful soloists with karaoke fest performed followed by the army band. Following the opening ceremony of the event, thus performed Ethno group "Zone"; church dance ensemble'''' Branko; finalists of the "I have talent" competition, CAS "Kovilje"; VOCAL ENSEMBLE "Constantin"; Stage musical association "Srma" ; Pop - Rock group "SO & SO".

Part of accompanying events took place in the Palilula market. This space is an exhibition of handicrafts and artworks, with over 35 exhibitors and 35 booths. Uncle Zika instant access to the stage in the Episkopska street, elicited applause from many passersby and guests.

Municipality of Palilula has provided recognition to all program participants and guests from municipal Svoge in Bulgaria and Municipalities of Krusevac and Lazarevac were given appropriate presentation. Many citizens in the region were able to follow through regional Bellamy TV and cable networks this year's event in Nis Palilula.
